Brief History

Being fully aware of the great role that quality education plays in our National life and having rightfully realized the dearth of good educational institutions to meet the educational needs of the fast growing population of Faisalabad, the idea of setting up an institution of the level of “Divisional Model School (DMS)” as a seat of quality learning was conceived by Mr. Shehzad Hassan Pervez, Commissioner, Faisalabad Division 1989.

The medium of instruction was to be English and its students were ultimately to be prepared and groomed for Cambridge and B.I.S.E. Faisalabad examinations respectively.

D.M.S. has been upgraded to College with F.Sc. Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering and ‘A’ level stream of Cambridge University Examinations as well. Divisional Model College is a purpose built campus in the heart of Faisalabad in the most secured area. It has got lush green environment and is situated in natural setting. It is located in the most posh area of Civil Lines and at a walking distance from the University of Agriculture Lyallpur Golf Club and Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
